FAQ’s
1. How is communication handled with my insurance company during the claim process?
All communication with your insurance company is handled with the Claim Crushers PA. You will be informed of the process every step of the way and CCd on all email communications.
2. Will you attend the insurance inspection with the insurance adjuster?
Yes. You will be notified of the scheduled date and time of your property inspection. We attend all inspections and properly inspect and document your property damage with the adjuster the insurance company decides to send out.
3. How do I know if my claim is approved or denied?
When we represent you as your Public Adjuster, either our team will follow up with the insurance company or the insurance company will notify us. We will then reach out to you and inform you of the next step of the process depending on the situation.
4. What is the next step after my claim is approved?
After the insurance company makes their determination and opens up coverage, our supplementing team will review all documents and photos of your property damage to make sure you’re being fully indemnified for your covered loss. When the insurance company does not provide a proper scope of work, we look at all claim documentation. We then provide photos, documents and all relative information to them for reasons of coverage.
5. What if my claim is denied?
All situations vary and every claim is different. If your claim is denied and there is no coverage provided for your loss, we will carefully review all documentation and prepare for a re-Inspection. We ask the carrier to send us a formal letter on their coverage determination and how they came to their conclusion. Sometimes a claim is partially approved but damages fall below your deductible amount. In this case, it is important for us to gather a scope of work from the carrier that shows us what these damaged items are.
6. I currently have a claim where the insurance company provided coverage but I am not satisfied with the amount they are willing to pay out for my damages. Can I still use Claim Crushers as my PA?
Yes. If you are not satisfied with the amount the insurance company has agreed to pay for your damages, we will closely examine all documentation from your claim to find out the reasons for this.
