WATER DAMAGE
One of the most common types of water damage insurance claims comes from a roof leak. If action is not taken in a swift manner mold and corrosion can occur.
FIRE DAMAGE
Fire damage is one of the most devastating and costly types of damage. Fire losses in South Carolina account for less than half of the state’s fire insurance claims.
TORNADO loss
About 1,200 tornadoes hit the United States every year. If you face tornado losses, insurance claims are the last things you want to handle. You need someone helping you through this confusion..
Wind DAMAGE
All claims are different and every roof system is unique. An insurance company may prescribe to remove and replace 17 shingles OR agree to replace ONLY half your roof, such as the front and left slopes. When dealing with wind damage to YOUR roof system, WE not only know the insurance policy, but WE are shingle experts and WE have the skills to perform and document attempted repairs. If your insurance company provides you a scope of work that calls to do a patch repair on a roof system that is going to cause more harm than good, it is our responsibility to provide them with the necessary documents, photos, building codes and use of policy language to make sure you are fully covered by your loss. Furthermore, ALL states have different laws and regulations and all insurance companies abide by their own internal guidelines.
HAIL DAMAGE
hail can not only affect your property, but cause damage to your gutters, downspouts, roofing vents and components, flashing, window screens, etc. When we meet with the insurance adjuster on-site and point out these damages, we need to hold these individuals accountable for documenting ALL of your damage…Not just the roof. So when it comes to creating an estimate for your loss OR supplementing items that an insurance company left off a scope of work OR filing for a re-inspection…our well documented photo reports and detailed analysis proves the loss occurred within the policy period. It is our responsibility to make sure you are fully indemnified for what your policy covers.

The Claim Process
DAMAGE ESTIMATE
After discussing the details of your loss and/or gathering all necessary documentation from you and the carrier, it is gametime. 1. We prepare our files. 2. Make sure all damage is documented and accounted for and/or is in the process of being documented. 3. Then we Execute. Once we receive the Public Adjuster Contract (Letter of Representation) from you, we email your insurance company and inform them of our representation. All communication will be handled by us AND communication is our #1 priority. So you will be CC’d on every single correspondence with the carrier and will be sent a calendar invite informing you of the day and time of the adjuster meeting. We will be there to meet them at your property.
Payout
This is the best part- when you get paid the best possible settlement. We always strive to get you the most for your damage, every time. If you don’t get paid, we don’t get paid. You may have been told by your contractor that your roof was damaged by hail and wind. In a scenario like this, when you work with Claim Crushers we not only inspect your roof but we are going to inspect your entire property for ALL damage from the covered peril. If hail damages your roof and you have wind blown shingles, we are going to make sure we gather a detailed and well documented photo report that proves to the carrier the details and facts of the loss… but also make sure you are performing your duties after a loss, which is what YOU, the insured, is required to do by the contract (policy).
SETTLEMENT OFFER
Your insurance company is obligated to make a decision within 90 days. You’ll either get a settlement off, or you will get denied. We are by your side, either way. Every state is different but in the state of Georgia: the insurer (insurance company) must confirm or deny liability on claims within 15 days of receiving the completed proof of loss from the insured. If a proof of loss is not required by the insurer, then the confirmation or denial must be within 30 days from the date the claim was reported to the insurer.
Negotiation
The Claim Crushers estimating team has the expertise and industry knowledge to make sure you are fully indemnified for everything you are owed covered under your policy. Policies contain endorsements and exclusions. Policies contain Additional Living Expenses (ALE) coverage. We follow and abide by International Building Codes adopted at the state level and hold insurance companies accountable to make sure they are following these codes, which are enforced. We make sure your code upgrades are being accounted for, and if not, our supplementing team provides this documentation to the carrier. We use the same estimating software programs that all insurance companies use to formulate their estimates, known as Xactware and Symbility, and are familiar with the ins and outs of how each operates.
Call For a Free Estimate
Public adjusters typically charge a small percentage of the total amount they helped you collect for your claim, so the fee varies based on your insurance settlement. At Claim Crushers, if you’re claim is not approved we do not collect anything.

We work strictly on a contingency basis, meaning that we get paid when you get paid. Don’t settle for less than you deserve for your claim.

WHY TO HIRE A PUBLIC ADJUSTER?
WORKING WITHOUT A PUBLIC ADJUSTER:
When you file an insurance claim without using a licensed public insurance adjuster, your insurance company is going to send out an adjuster to your property who inspects the damages and handles claims on their company’s behalf. These individuals look out for the insurance companies best interest. This individual may be a staff adjuster, an independent adjuster or an unlicensed ladder assist from a third-party company who the insurance company has hired to take photos of your loss. These ladder assists will then send in their report to the claims desk adjuster who makes your coverage determination.
